Evolugen operates a high-voltage transmission line between its High Falls hydroelectric facility in Bowman and its Masson facility in Gatineau.
We prioritize the health and safety of the public, our employees and contractors throughout our operations, taking the necessary precautions to minimize and mitigate public safety risks around high-voltage lines. Every year, we inspect the corridor under the lines and remove trees, shrubs and debris, if needed.

Flooding and Dam Safety Preparedness
Multiple provincial ministries as well as 16 municipalities in the Lièvre watershed prepared an emergency response plan with the support of dam managers like Evolugen and the Ministère de la Sécurité publique’s regional divisions. Although these procedures apply to any type of disaster, flooding was used to illustrate the plan, making it an excellent resource to improve emergency preparedness.
